Announcements
Passport – when slow cover roving and weeding - Usually 2 people, but when we aren’t busy, help with the weeding instead
DVD’s (keep empty sleeve tabs up please) - Lauren and Crystal are going through all the DVDs and making sure they’re in the correct spaces. Be sure to leave the tab up to notify of an empty sleeve
Secret Santa (Lauren) Reminder: sign up for the feast
Applications update (Lauren) – when in doubt – ask - Green magazine bin will have applications that need to be graded by Lauren
Follow assigned schedule - Please be on time and if you’re roving, be sure to walk around the entire library
Operating in offline mode (self-check and desk machines) - Self-check machines will tell customers that computers are offline. That means we need to go to offline mode on the desk. An email will be sent when service is back online.
Label all work – discards, floats, paging, book drop, etc.
Weeding / Floating: Orange tabs at end of rows completed. Mark and place on correct carts! Keep work area clean and box materials please ASAP to friends or discards. Nonfiction - keep one copy and weed by condition
Drilling (Chris) - We have a cracked foundation found by the exterminator
Chain of command: Chris, Monica, Jayla, Jenny, Candece, Renee, Mo, Carol, Nagma
Newspaper / Serial Check In (Renee demonstration to staff at front desk)
Kronos - Make sure everything is accurate and complete in Kronos by Friday, December 18
Library closure - The library will be closed December 26, 2015
Sprockets - If you see anything amiss with the building, fill out a sprocket and notify a manager. If you have any questions, ask Crystal.
Donations - Moldy and gross donations will be tossed out. Chris is supervising donations.
