Staff Meeting 9/03/15-- The changes, they are a'comin--

Important points:
1. Please make sure to sign in and out of Kronos on time
2.  Beginning 9/1/15, there will be only one study room, and we may lose that one.
3.  Self reports are due every month as soon after the first of the month as possible
4. DSI check out and laptop procedures gone over by Martin Botello
5.  Time line for Alief to Robinson is October 5th- or there abouts.
6. Be patient and flexible, changes and personnel will be changing- show them how we do things at Robinson, and also take suggestions on how to do things better.
7. New label printers for Holds and transits.
8. Sirsi updates from Lauren- Things are being put on the discard cart without being discharged.
   Also, make sure parent's names are last name first, no comma, then first name.
9. MAKE SURE YOU ASK ABOUT VOTER REGISTRATION CARD APPLICATION, AND
THEN CHECK THE BOX ON THE APP. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE!!!
10. Check the blog regularly for updates on rules and regs.
11.Attendance and punctuality counts on everyone's Hear appraisal.- Be on time, but be aware
that sick leave does not count against you as it did in the past. An info sheet was passed out to that effect.
12. Lean Six Sigma is a required training, and will be scheduled in the near future.
13. The outreach suitcase was demonstrated by Angela, and is available for anyone's use.

15. Condition of items sent to fill holds. Please make sure we are not sending junk--(even though
we sometimes get junk)
